Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris will celebrate its 30th anniversary from 25 to 27 January 2027 at the Paris-Le-Bourget Exhibition Centre. With more than 1,000 international exhibitors expected, the anniversary edition will introduce a redesigned exhibition layout across Halls 3 and 4, bringing fabric manufacturers and garment producers closer together. The event will also highlight Spring-Summer 2028 trends, sustainable sourcing and new opportunities for international textile trade.

New exhibition layout to strengthen business connections

For its anniversary edition, Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris will introduce an optimised exhibition concept across Halls 3 and 4 of the Paris-Le-Bourget Exhibition Centre. The new layout is designed to strengthen connections between exhibitors and visitors while making it easier to identify individual sectors and navigate the exhibition.

Visitors will find the event's two main areas: Apparel Sourcing, dedicated to finished products and accessories, and Texworld, focusing on fabrics and raw materials.

Dedicated spaces for networking, presentations, conferences, trend showcases, services and catering will be distributed across both halls. This arrangement aims to encourage visitors to explore the entire exhibition and facilitate business exchanges throughout the event.

More than 1,000 exhibitors expected as Indian participation gains importance

More than 1,000 international exhibitors are expected to participate in the January edition. The exhibition will maintain a balanced offering between fabrics and materials on the one hand and finished products on the other, covering different stages of the textile and apparel sourcing process.

The evolving trade relationship between the European Union and India is also expected to create new opportunities for international textile trade. The EU-India free trade agreement, concluded in January 2026 and currently undergoing ratification, is expected to enter into force in 2027. It provides for the elimination of European customs duties on Indian textiles and garments, currently reaching up to 12% depending on the product.

These developments could further strengthen the position of South Asian manufacturers, particularly those from India, in the European market and increase the importance of international sourcing platforms such as Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris.

Spring-Summer 2028 trends and industry discussions

Starting with the January edition, trend forums dedicated to the Spring-Summer 2028 collections will be presented in both exhibition halls.

Developed by the event's artistic directors, Louis Gérin and Gregory Lamaud, these spaces will offer creative insights aligned with the product categories represented in each hall, supporting buyers in identifying materials, designs and manufacturing partners for future collections.

In Hall 4, the Texpertise Agora will provide a platform for conferences, debates and round-table discussions. Industry professionals and experts will address major developments and challenges shaping the textile and apparel sectors.

Sustainability and traceability remain central themes

Sustainability and traceability will continue to play an important role in the exhibition programme and visitor experience.

Through its Texpertise Econogy initiative, Messe Frankfurt will offer several formats designed to help visitors identify companies and solutions with a focus on sustainability.

The Econogy Finder will highlight suppliers of sustainably produced textiles, while the Econogy Talks will bring together experts and industry professionals for discussions at the Texpertise Agora. The Econogy Tour will offer guided visits to selected manufacturers presenting sustainable solutions.

These initiatives are intended to provide greater transparency and support buyers in integrating environmental considerations into their sourcing decisions.

Small quantities and international initiatives

To support brands and designers in developing new collections and improving their competitiveness, the Small Quantities Itinerary will help visitors identify manufacturers offering production solutions for smaller order volumes.

The initiative will cover both textile production and garment manufacturing, addressing the needs of emerging brands, independent designers and companies seeking greater flexibility in their sourcing strategies.

Two dedicated Initiatives areas, located at the entrances to the exhibition halls, will showcase expertise and collaborative projects involving companies, educational institutions and participating countries.

These spaces will highlight the diversity of international textile expertise, manufacturing traditions and innovative approaches across the global textile and apparel industry.

The anniversary edition of Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris will take place from 25 to 27 January 2027 at the Paris-Le-Bourget Exhibition Centre, bringing together international suppliers, manufacturers, buyers and industry professionals for three days of sourcing, networking and market insights.
