EVENEXT & BURSTMATIC II to headline Mesdan S.p.A. presentation at ITM 2026

MESDAN S.p.A. will once again participate in ITM 2026, Turkey’s most important textile trade fair. The next generation of evenness testers, equipped with hairiness sensor, for all types of natural and manmade spun yarns, as well as sliver and roving. The equipment is designed in a modular configuration, ready to be upgraded with the incorporated automatic cop changing system and the creel, for the automatic testing from up to 24 bobbins. This new version is endowed with ceramic sensors for the utmost accuracy and best consistency in results and for a minor influence of the ambient conditions. Designed with the latest mechanical and electronic components and with new intuitive and flexible software.

BURSTMATIC II

The well-known pneumatic strength tester, for the analysis of the resistance of woven and knitting fabrics to the bursting strength, as well as for performing release-and-extension cycle tests (hysteresis/fatigue testing). It can be equipped with interchangeable domes for accomplishing various international and private test methods on the different materials.

Mesdan can offer complete laboratory solutions for all the weaving, knitting, dyeing and printing mills, as well as for the R&D and testing institutes, and the garment manufacturers and retail stores. Physical testing (strength, elongation, tearing, abrasion, pilling, air & water permeability, dimensional stability, etc.), colour fastness (to washing, rubbing, light exposure, perspiration), fire and comfort testing are part of the Mesdan-Lab catalogue.

Finest lab equipment by Mesdan at ITMA Asia + CITME 2025 Singapore

Mesdan will be exhibiting 4 of their most important lab equipment at ITMA Asia + CITME 2025, which will be held in Singapore, 28 to 31 October 2025. As part of the spinning solutions of Vandewiele, Mesdan will be sharing their space within the 286 m2 booth of the group, located in Hall 4, booth n° A302.

ITM 2028 opens exhibitor registration following successful 2026 edition

Following the successful conclusion of ITM 2026, preparations for the next edition of the International Textile Machinery Exhibition are already underway. The organisers have officially opened exhibitor registration for ITM 2028, which will take place from June 13–17, 2028, at the Tüyap Fair and Congress Center in Istanbul.

ITM 2026: Mayer & Cie. Global presents itself successfully at international industry trade fair

Mayer & Cie. Global has used ITM 2026 in Istanbul for its first major international appearance since the restart. New spinning package with two-step filtration for recycled yarns and more

At the ITM in Istanbul, BB Engineering unveiled its new, patented ValuePack spinning package for the first time, which features a two-stage filtration system. This is particularly beneficial for re-cycling processes. Until now, spinning packs have used either metal powder (“sand”) or filter candles as filter media. Both options are suitable for differ-ent applications, and each has its own specific advantages and dis-advantages.

Reju opens its first R&D Center in the U.S. in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania

Reju, the company specializing in textile regeneration, today announced the opening of a Research and Development (R&D) Center in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, the company's first proprietary research center in North America. Located within Technip Energies' existing Advanced Materials and Catalysts research center, the lab will allow Reju to accelerate the rollout of its recycling technologies and develop its next-generation circular solutions.
