The second edition of Textiles Recycling Expo USA will take place on 7–8 April 2027 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Following a debut that attracted more than 1,800 visitors and 95 exhibitors, the event will expand its exhibition and conference programme and will be held alongside the new Textiles Manufacturing Expo.

Registration has opened for Textiles Recycling Expo USA 2027, which will return to the Charlotte Convention Center in North Carolina on 7–8 April 2027.

The exhibition and conference focuses on textile recycling, circularity and technologies supporting the transition towards more sustainable material flows.

The inaugural edition attracted more than 1,800 attendees and 95 exhibitors from across the textile value chain, bringing together recyclers, manufacturers, brands, retailers, technology suppliers, researchers and representatives from the public sector.

Building on this first event, organiser AMI plans to expand both the exhibition area and the conference programme in 2027.

Recycling technologies and circular business models

The conference will address technological, economic and regulatory developments affecting textile recycling in North America and internationally.

Key topics include fibre-to-fibre recycling, textile sorting infrastructure, mechanical and chemical recycling technologies, circular business models, reuse and repair, and evolving legislation.

The exhibition will present technologies and services supporting the collection, sorting, processing and recycling of textile materials.

Live demonstrations and networking opportunities will complement the conference programme, providing a platform for exchange between technology providers, manufacturers, recyclers and other industry stakeholders.

New Textiles Manufacturing Expo to run alongside recycling event

An important development for 2027 is the introduction of the Textiles Manufacturing Expo, which will be held alongside Textiles Recycling Expo USA for the first time.

The combination is intended to connect recycling technologies with developments in textile manufacturing, bringing together companies and organisations from different stages of the textile value chain.

Visitors will be able to access both exhibitions with a single ticket.

The expanded format aims to encourage closer cooperation between manufacturers, recycling companies and technology providers, particularly in areas where recycled fibres and circular material flows need to be integrated into industrial production processes.
