Sustainable CHT innovations at PERFORMANCE DAYS SPRING Functional Fabric Fair

CHT Group is set to participate in the PERFORMANCE DAYS SPRING Functional Fabric Fair in Munich on March 5 and 6, 2025. As a key player in sustainable textile solutions, CHT will present its latest innovations at booth E11, with a strong focus on pioneering dyeing processes and functional finishes designed to enhance textile properties while minimizing environmental impact.

Showcasing sustainable innovations

At the trade fair, CHT will highlight its latest advancements in sustainable textile technology, emphasizing innovative approaches to dyeing and finishing processes that significantly reduce water consumption and carbon footprint.

PIGMENTURA BY CHT

This cutting-edge, pigment-based dyeing process eliminates the need for water during soaping and rinsing, as well as energy-intensive heating of process water. By adopting this technology, water consumption in the dyeing process can be reduced by up to 96%. Recognized for its sustainability impact, PIGMENTURA BY CHT was awarded the German Federal Ecodesign Award in the Product category in 2024, a result of a successful collaboration between Inditex and CHT.

ECOPRINT BY CHT

CHT's water-based textile printing system, utilizing reactive and pigment inks, adheres to the highest sustainability standards. Awarded the C2C Certified Material Health Certificate™, this innovation actively supports the transition from linear production methods to circular economy models in the textile industry.

TUBINGAL® RISE

A groundbreaking softener formulated from recycled end-of-life silicones, TUBINGAL® RISE consists of over 60% recycled silicone waste and emulsifiers derived from renewable raw materials. With this product, CHT sets a new benchmark for sustainable softeners within the textile sector.

ARRISTAN rAIR

Developed from recycled PET flakes, this hydrophilic finish ensures optimal moisture regulation, rapid drying, and superior dirt repellency. ARRISTAN rAIR is particularly suited for finishing recycled yarns and fabrics, which can subsequently be reprocessed, reinforcing the principles of a circular textile economy.

Industry recognition for sustainable leadership

CHT's unwavering commitment to sustainability was reaffirmed in 2024 when it received the adiformulator Award from adidas for the second consecutive year. This accolade recognizes CHT as a leader in sustainable innovation, further cementing its role in shaping the future of the textile industry.

As a foundation-owned enterprise, CHT upholds a comprehensive sustainability agenda. The company's products are developed in adherence to rigorous environmental standards, with an emphasis on bio-based, biodegradable, and recycled materials to support circular economy principles.

Industry professionals attending PERFORMANCE DAYS are invited to explore CHT's latest sustainable solutions at booth E11, where the CHT team will offer in-depth insights into the future of eco-friendly textile technologies.
