Join the Movement: At Magnera, sustainability is a shared responsibility, and they invite to be a part of it. For more information on ENDURANCE and our ENDURA solutions, contact Magnera. © 2025 Magnera
As Magnera enters a new year, the company is reflecting on a key sustainability milestone from 2025: the launch of ENDURANCE, its global, employee-led initiative focused on waste reduction and sustainable innovation. Launched on Earth Day 2025, this initiative has generated more than 250 improvement submissions from team members across Magnera’s global operations, demonstrating strong engagement and shared accountability for sustainability across the organization.

Magnera Corporation operates across 45 sites worldwide with more than 8,500 employees, and ENDURANCE is designed to empower every team member to contribute to operational sustainability through practical, actionable innovation.

What is ENDURANCE?

ENDURANCE is Magnera’s official internal sustainability and innovation campaign, inspired by the company’s ENDURA product line and grounded in the belief that progress and responsibility go hand in hand.

This campaign challenges team members to rethink everyday processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose solutions that reduce waste while strengthening operational performance. By embedding sustainability into daily decision-making, ENDURANCE supports Magnera’s broader commitment to responsible manufacturing and continuous improvement.

Why ENDURANCE matters

Waste is more than what ends up in a landfill—it’s hidden in time, energy, water, and even the impact of our decisions. ENDURANCE addresses five critical dimensions of waste:

  • Time: streamlining workflows to reduce inefficiencies
  • Energy: Reducing unnecessary consumption and optimizing operations
  • Landfill: Minimizing material waste through unique recycling and reuse outlets
  • Water: Conserving resources and preventing contamination
  • Impact: Lowering environmental footprints and improving community well-being

Driving change through collaboration

To ensure this campaign delivers tangible outcomes, Green Teams have been established at every Magnera site. These cross-functional teams meet regularly to review and validate internal submissions, transform ideas into practical solutions, and share best practices across the organization.

This collaborative structure ensures that sustainability initiatives are actionable, scalable, and aligned with operational realities – while fostering internal expertise, ownership, and innovation.

A culture of responsibility and innovation

“ENDURANCE is more than a program – it’s a mindset. ” said Madyson Partenheimer, Global Sustainability Manager at Magnera. “By embedding sustainability into our culture, we empower our teams to collaborate, innovate, and deliver solutions that support both operational excellence and environmental responsibility.”

This movement reinforces Magnera’s purpose to better the world with new possibilities made real, ensuring sustainability is not treated as a separate initiative, but as an integral part of how the company operates and evolves.
