Ferraro S.p.A. acquires the “Finishing” business unit of Cibitex S.r.l.

Ferraro S.p.A. and Cibitex S.r.l. are pleased to announce the completion of the agreement pursuant to which Ferraro S.p.A. has acquired the “Finishing” business unit of Cibitex S.r.l., specialized in the development and manufacturing of technological solutions for textile finishing.

The transaction represents a strategic milestone for both companies and forms part of a broader path aimed at strengthening their industrial and commercial capabilities within the international textile sector.

Through the integration of the “Finishing” business unit, Ferraro S.p.A. further expands its portfolio of technologies and solutions dedicated to textile finishing, enhancing the know-how, technical expertise, and long-standing customer relationships developed by Cibitex over the years.

For Cibitex S.r.l., the agreement ensures industrial continuity and new growth opportunities for the “Finishing” business activities within an industrial group with a strong international presence and extensive experience in the textile industry.

The parties confirm that the transaction will ensure continuity for customers, business partners, and employees involved, with the objective of preserving and further developing the technological and professional heritage built by the business unit.

“This acquisition marks an important step in Ferraro’s growth strategy and strengthens our ability to offer increasingly comprehensive and innovative solutions to customers in the textile sector,” stated Simone Ferraro and Leo Petruzio, managing directors of Ferraro S.p.A.

The closing of the transaction took place on July 2nd 2026, in accordance with the terms and conditions agreed between the parties.
