For more than 70 years, Phoenox Textiles Ltd. has been synonymous with quality, reliability, and inno-vation in the textile industry. Founded in 1954 in Huddersfield (Yorkshire, UK), a region with a long tradition in textiles, this family-owned business has continued to evolve without losing sight of its roots. Today, in its fourth generation under the leadership of the Mosley family, Phoenox successfully combines decades of experience with a clear, forward-looking corporate strategy.

Over the course of its history, Phoenox has increasingly specialized in the production of carpets, floor mats, and play rugs. Approximately 80 percent of the product portfolio is still manufactured at the headquarters in Hud-dersfield—a clear commitment to the location and to creating value within the UK.

To meet the growing demands of the market, streamline production processes, and tap into new business areas, Phoenox decided to make a strategic investment in a state-of-the-art carpet back-coating line. The goal was to expand production capacity while ensuring the highest quality standards on an ongoing basis. Following intensive project planning and consultation, the leading textile ma-chinery manufacturer Brückner was selected as the technology partner. The decision to partner with the German family-owned company proved to be a gamechanger: the installed state-of-the-art coat-ing line impressed with its performance and reliability shortly after commissioning. Even during the start-up phase, the system not only met but actually exceeded the contractually agreed-upon produc-tion targets.

Throughout the entire project, Brückner proved to be an extremely competent, solution-oriented, and trustworthy partner. In particular, the close collaboration, technical expertise, and high quality of ser-vice contributed significantly to the project’s success. Phoenox also looks to the future with optimism and is confident that it has a long-term partner in Brückner. In addition to state-of-the-art plant tech-nology, the collaboration also focuses on ongoing technical consulting, reliable maintenance, targeted upgrades, and rapid spare parts supply.

With this investment, Phoenox Textiles is making a strong statement of its commitment to combining tradition and innovation and continuing to operate successfully as a leading provider in the interna-tional market.
