Temco launches a new DTY all-in-one solution

Temco introduces the DTY All-in-One Solution – a fully harmonized set of components engineered to give customers a highly stable, low maintenance and reproducible process environment. The solution reduces interruptions, extends component lifetimes and supports consistent yarn quality across all machine positions. All-in-One Solution – a fully harmonized set of components engineered to provide maintenance and reproducible process environment.

Temco’s new DTY All-in-One Solution integrates perfectly aligned components that act as one system to deliver controlled friction, smooth yarn handling and minimal vibration: The All-in-One Solution integrates perfectly aligned components that act as one system to deliver controlled friction, smooth yarn handling and minimal vibration:

  • Metal twist stopper DST MC – delivers highly precise twist control and superior mechanical robustness.
  • Bearing assembly LAG – ensures stable, low vibration operation and consistent yarn tension.
  • Nip roller LR – supports smooth yarn guidance in the relaxation zone with long service life.
  • FS and NanoDisc friction elements – provide uniform friction performance for consistent yarn quality.
  • Separator roller VR E – secures clean yarn separation with low friction and virtually no vibration.

By reducing friction fluctuations, vibration levels and maintenance requirements, this set of components enables reproducible yarn parameters and long-term process stability – even when processing fine or sensitive filament materials.

Precision twist control with the new DST MC

At the core of the solution is the new metal twist stopper DST MC, engineered for reliable twist blocking. Its low friction bearing, reduced inertia and uniform coating ensure smooth rotation, gentle filament contact and consistent yarn interaction across the entire DTY process. High resistance to radial forces enhances durability and supports stable performance over extended operating periods. Reliable yarn tension and transport

The bearing assembly LAG contributes to uniform yarn tension thanks to its low vibration design, maintaining reproducible production parameters even under changing conditions. vibration design, maintaining reproducible production parameters even under changing conditions.

The nip roller LR stabilizes yarn transport in the relaxation zone, delivering long-lasting operational performance with minimal maintenance needs.

Consistent friction performance with FS and NanoDisc technology

Temco’s friction discs FS are manufactured with tight tolerances to deliver consistent friction characteristics and reproducible texturing behavior across all machine positions.

For fine PA6 and PA66 deniers, the NanoDisc provides tailored friction properties that enable higher production speeds or improved yarn performance. Trials show reduced fluff formation, stable friction and enhanced yarn parameters, with a typical service life of approximately two years in fine PA applications.

Stable yarn separation for high-speed and delicate applications

The separator rollers VR E complete the DTY All-in-One Solution by ensuring stable yarn separation with minimal vibration and low friction Lifetime-lubricated bearings eliminate the need for relubrication, while the chrome-coated surface ensures gentle yarn handling and long operating life – even at high speeds and with delicate microfilament yarns.
