RE&UP debuts at Ecomondo 2025 to showcase circular fashion innovation

The circulartech company brings textile-to-textile recycling expertise to Europe’s leading green economy event

RE&UP makes its first appearance at Ecomondo – The Green Technology Expo, Europe’s leading event for ecological transition and circular economy. Specializing in textile-to-textile recycling, RE&UP transforms end-of-life fabrics into Next-Gen recycled cotton fibers and polyester chips, giving new life to materials that would otherwise go to waste.

At this year’s edition, the company will showcase how its circular technology is already powering large-scale collaborations with leading brands – including multi-year work with PUMA’s RE:FIBRE program and a partnership with BESTSELLER’s ONLY brand. Visitors can discover these collaborations and learn more about RE&UP’s industrial-scale circular model at Hall B3 – Booth 024.

RE&UP will also participate in two sessions at the Textile District – Workshop Area, Hall B3:

Circular Textiles: technological frontiers for recycling, recovery, and valorization.

RE&UP will join leading experts to explore cutting-edge strategies for managing textile waste that can’t be reused. The discussion covers mechanical and chemical recycling, energy recovery, and downcycling, highlighting approaches that reduce landfill contributions while maximizing material value.

Textile climate control system in workwear – exhibition at the 2026 SME Innovation Day!

Conventional protective workwear often reaches its limits during strenuous physical activity. In particular, the transport of sweat and excess body heat poses a problem. The German Institutes of Textile and Fiber Research (DITF) conducted research on flow-optimized, air-conducting textile structures that enable targeted climate control directly on the body.
