UCMTF members will present latest solutions that address the main trends

ITM 2024 is a great opportunity to meet in person, at the highest level, to find and offer the best solutions. Of course, there are some main trends: sustainability, raw materials, energy and water savings, recycling, digitalization, cloud computing, artificial Intelligence, cost efficiency etc. Another main trend for UCMTF members is act as a local partner wherever the customers are located.

SUPERBA

To meet all its demands, Superba is offering a wide range of machines and new textile processes. Already the leader in heat-setting with saturated steam under pressure thanks to their well-known TVP3, Superba is offering a new automation solution for bobbins handling & packing with the KR1 knotting system. As human operators are increasingly difficult to recruit, and jobs are changing, it enables to automate all bobbin knotting stages throughout the production.

In addition, labeling and palletizing were offered; the customers were attracted by the combination with quality control options and data management. It enables Superba to diversify in new markets such as Tire Cord, Polyester DTY, Artificial Turf, Technical Textiles and more…On top of that, one of the current satisfactions is the enthusiasm generated by the automation system, and especially with the KR1 knotting module. Green lights only for French Equipments @ ITMA

ITMA 2023 has been a great expo for the French exhibitors. Christian Guinet, UCMTF’s Secretary General points out “R&D is embedded in our members’ strategy, but for this ITMA they have secured more budgets than ever. The objectives are ambitious: breaking innovative technologies to offer their customers the opportunity to develop new products, process them in a secure, economical and environment friendly way. Raw materials, energy and water savings are top priorities for our customers both because it is an end market demand and to cut costs. Digitalization and artificial intelligence are essential tools to move into these directions."

The Address of innovation and investment in textile technologies: ITM 2026

Sales for ITM 2026, one of the world’s most comprehensive and prestigious exhibitions in textile technologies, are continuing at full steam. The record number of exhibitors and visitors achieved at ITM 2024 once again proved the industry’s confidence and the commercial success of the exhibition; meanwhile, the strong interest shown in ITM 2026, to be held on 9-13 June 2026, has far exceeded expectations.

Fruitful discussions and an attention-grabbing innovation showcase

At this year's ITM, the KARL MAYER GROUP once again demonstrated that it is a reliable partner for its customers, especially in difficult times. At this year's trade fair, the majority of visitors came from Turkey. In particular, the number of trade visitors from North Africa and Central Asia was lower than usual. Nevertheless, the KARL MAYER GROUP trade fair team was able to report successes.

Innovation and customer proximity – KARL MAYER’s clear focus makes an impression

ITMA ASIA in Singapore was a resounding success for KARL MAYER, exceeding all expectations. The company welcomed visitors from 39 countries and held around 570 expert discussions. Most guests came from India, followed by China, Indonesia and Pakistan. The exchange with them was both well-founded and targeted. Conversation topics ranged from investment projects and new technologies to opportunities for cooperation and business expansion.
