IGATEX Pakistan 2026 to showcase textile machinery and manufacturing technologies in Lahore

More than 500 exhibitors and over 20,000 trade visitors are expected at the four-day exhibition, covering textile machinery, automation, digital printing and sustainable production technologies.

IGATEX Pakistan 2026 will take place from October 15–18 at the Expo Centre Lahore, bringing together international textile machinery manufacturers, technology suppliers and industry professionals. The exhibition will focus on technological developments across the textile and garment manufacturing value chain, with particular attention to automation, digitalization and sustainable production processes.

According to the organizers, the event is expected to feature more than 500 exhibitors from over 30 countries, occupying an exhibition area of more than 18,000 square meters. More than 20,000 visitors and 800 international delegates are anticipated.

The exhibition covers a broad range of technologies, including spinning and textile machinery, weaving, knitting, embroidery, garment manufacturing, digital textile printing, dyeing and finishing equipment. Additional areas include textile chemicals, accessories, industrial components, smart factory solutions and technologies aimed at improving resource efficiency.

Among the companies and organizations listed as exhibitors or representatives are Groz-Beckert, Murata Machinery, Jeanologia, Cotton Council International and Itochu Machine-Technos, alongside numerous local machinery suppliers and technology providers.

Pakistan's textile industry remains a major economic driver

The exhibition takes place against the background of the textile industry's considerable importance to Pakistan's economy. According to industry statistics published by the organizers, the sector contributes approximately 8.5% to the country's GDP and accounts for nearly 60% of total exports. Textile manufacturing also represents a substantial share of industrial employment.

Garments, knitwear and home textiles are among the industry's important export segments. For manufacturers, investment in modern machinery, production efficiency, product quality and sustainable processes remains an important factor in maintaining competitiveness in international markets.

IGATEX Pakistan provides a platform for technology suppliers and textile manufacturers to discuss new equipment, production requirements and investment opportunities.
